These procedures are typically less invasive than traditional surgeries and allow for quicker recovery times. They are used for both diagnostic and therapeutic purposes across various medical conditions.
Some of his specialisations includes:

Pinhole catheter directed blockage of the arteries supplying the prostate, shrinking the prostate and improving bladder emptying.

Blocking abnormal dilated testicular veins.

Blocking and sclerosing of ovarian veins and/or treating concurrent pelvic varices.

Pinhole catheter directed radiotherapy where Y90 impregnated spheres are dropped onto cancers, usually in the liver.

Angiography: Imaging of blood vessels to detect blockages or abnormalities.
Angioplasty: Using a balloon catheter to open narrowed or blocked blood vessels.

Delivering chemotherapy directly to a tumor, usually in the liver, while simultaneously blocking the tumor’s blood supply (e.g., transarterial chemoembolisation, or TACE).

RFA: Using heat to destroy cancer cells.
Cryoablation: Using extreme cold to freeze and kill abnormal tissue, commonly for tumors in the kidney, liver, or bone.

Placing catheters (e.g., port or PICC lines) for long-term IV treatments such as chemotherapy or dialysis.

Inserting a filter in the inferior vena cava to prevent blood clots from traveling to the lungs.

Thrombolysis: Breaking up or dissolving blood clots using medications.
Thrombectomy: Physically removing a clot from a blood vessel.

Placing stents or drainage catheters to relieve bile duct blockages, often caused by tumors or gallstones.

Draining fluid collections, abscesses, or cysts through a small puncture in the skin, commonly used for infections or post-surgical complications.

Treating compression fractures of the spine by injecting bone cement into the vertebrae for stabilisation and pain relief.
