Dr Matt Clifford is an Interventional Radiologist operating in Perth, Western Australia. He specialises in advanced image guided interventional techniques with a special interest in embolisation (Prostate, Fibroid, Varicocoele and Ovarian vein) as well as treatments for patients with cancer (Infusaport placement and Selective Internal Radiotherapy).

Awards and Experience
Graduating with honours from the University of Western Australia (MBBS), Dr Matt Clifford obtained a Diploma of Child Health (DCH) through the University of Sydney. He then completed his Radiology training in Western Australia, completing dual fellowships at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Body Imaging and Interventional Radiology.
In 2023, Dr Clifford received the European Board of Interventional Radiology (EBIR) certification, a globally recognised qualification. His exceptional performance in the EBIR was acknowledged at the 2024 CIRSE Congress in Lisbon, where he received the Certificate of Distinction, an honour awarded to the top two candidates worldwide.
Dr Clifford recently served as an Interventional Radiologist at the Wesley Hospital in Queensland, focusing on embolisation therapy. Committed to the advancement of his field, Dr Clifford actively engages in research and medical education, sharing his knowledge with the next generation of radiologists and contributing to the evolution of Interventional Radiology.
